It is located at Paradip Port Trust, Paradip, Orissa. It lies at a distance of 210 nautical miles from Kolkata (West Bengal) and 260 nautical miles from Visakhapatnam (Andhra Pradesh) – two major ports in the eastern region of India.
Paradip Port Trust is strategically located in the Bay of Bengal in close proximity with China, Japan, Myanmar and the rest of the southeas-Asia region. Paradip is the nearest deep-water port for the entire east and northeast part of India.
