It is located in the conservancy Kandla Port Trust, which provides pilotage and associated services for the terminal. The marine facilities consist of two single-point mooring (SPM) product berths and cross-country pipelines.

Connectivity

bullet_blue.gif By road: All the facilities, except the marine oil terminal, are located within the Essar Oil Refinery which is adjacent to the four-lane state highway (SH-25). Road gantries are connected to SH-25.

bullet_blue.gif By rail: A 12.5 km spur line connects the rail gantry of VOTL to Modpur railway station.
